Diana Au Yeung returned this Monday with the second part of the Executive Talk series on business and corporate culture in the Asia-Pacific region.
Diana is an HR consultant in the banking and retail sector across the Asia-Pacific region and alumni of Hull University Executive MBA. We discussed how change takes place in the operational model and corporate culture in the fast-changing world of fashion and luxury brands. Departing from her experience as a performance manager trainer for Hugo Boss, a luxury company that wanted to gain a strong foothold in the developing luxury market in the APAC region, Diana analyzed the dynamics of the fashion industry and the challenges that luxury brands are facing in a market where companies need to remain competitive, secure high levels of sales and develop outstanding customer experience. This week’s talk completed the previous discussion initiated by Diana on the building of consistent brand identity in the hospitality industry with a focus on the case of Peninsula Hotels, a HongKong based hotel chain.
