What we learned from the Executive Talk on Managing Change

This Wednesday we had the pleasure to have Diana Au Yeung from Hong Kong as guest speaker to our Executive Talk on Managing Change.

Diana is an HR consultant in the banking and retail sector across the Asia-Pacific region and alumni of Hull University Executive MBA. During the online event, Diana shared with us insights from her experience as the leader of the Training & Talent Development department in The Peninsula Hotels, one of the most prominent companies in the hospitality industry from the Asia Pacific region, where she collaborated with various teams on building strong internal service culture and learning initiatives. We learned how a company with tradition can build and maintain a strong and consistent brand and what kind of management practices and organizational culture you need to develop in order to deliver top-notch bespoke hospitality services in an industry that has become highly competitive and a region with a growing number of luxury hotels.

Diana focused her presentation on how you can apply the instruments and skills learned during the EMBA program in training dedicated teams in a company that has grown globally and entered new and extremely competitive markets.
