We recommend interested candidates to:

2. Write their CV in English or mention the LinkedIn profile link in the application email. It is recommended to include all professional, academic, and social achievements in the CV.

3. Obtain two recommendation letters in English from a business partner or employer.

4. Send the documents mentioned in steps 1-3 to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by November 30th (inclusive).

To make it easier for interested candidates, here are some tips explaining our expectations.

Business Plan

This is designed to provide a structure through which you can demonstrate your ability to develop and present a business plan in an entrepreneurial manner. Imagine you are writing for a potential investor, a bank, or a funding agency. You need to define the discovered opportunity or need and demonstrate that your proposal can be a convincing means to address it. The scale of the business or social problem is not a determining factor, but you need to show us why it matters and what impact your proposal could have. We are not looking for perfection as much as we want to see evidence of serious entrepreneurial thinking that is more than just an idea.

Academic Essay

When writing the essay, please remember that it will be evaluated based on four criteria:

1. Is the essay comprehensive in exploring the various ways executive education influences business development?

2. Is the essay well-structured with clear conclusions? Are ideas presented in a logical order, making it easy for the reader to follow the arguments?

3. Does the essay address the impact of executive education on business and employee development, organizational culture, innovation, and business growth?

4. Are all sources cited in the essay mentioned using the Harvard style, and have you organized your ideas into a maximum of 2000 words?

The Executive MBA programme is academically rigorous, and ideally, your essay will refer to other research and publications, which will significantly weigh in the evaluation. Like most business schools, Transilvania Executive Education uses Harvard referencing.

Applications will be evaluated by a team of professionals, including representatives from TEE, business and academic leaders, and alumni community representatives, according to the following evaluation system that will lead to a shortlist of 10 candidates:

a. Business plan: 25%
b. Essay: 25%
c. CV and recommendation letters: 50%

The 10 selected candidates will move to the second stage of the evaluation process, a phone/video interview with the evaluation team. The interview represents 50% of this stage’s evaluation, while the percentage from the first phase counts for 50%.

We look forward to receiving applications from interested candidates by November 30th (inclusive). Please include in the application email, sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., the application form, along with the CV in English and two recommendations from a manager/business partner.
